Our SEO Methodologies
Search engine optimisation involves a process with several components. There are many different approaches employed by SEO organisations. The most important thing to keep in mind is that search engines are designed to provide the most relevant results when a user performs a search.
White-Hat Techniques:
Our search engine optimization team utilizes only "white-hat" methodologies.
These methods do not employ “tricks” that place websites at
significant risk of being banned from search engine listings. Rather,
they are designed to provide content that is consistent with the keywords
your audience will use when searching for your product or service in a
format and code that is easily indexed by the search engine systems.
In addition to this, it is also important to build strong link popularity
to ensure your website achieves a high page rank.
Black-Hat Techniques:
There are many organisations who employ “tricks” to improve
search engine rankings. These methods are generally referred to as “black-hat”
methods. In the long run, however, these can result in severe loss of
rankings and sometimes even being banned from the search engine altogether.
This was famously seen in 2006 when both BMW and Richo Germany were
banned from Google for using such methodologies (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4685750.stm).
Because of this, it is essential to employ an SEO expert who employs only
“white-hat” techniques.
We consider the use of deceptive methods to be irresponsible
and of huge risk to our clients. As such we are constantly in touch with
the rules and regulations issued by the search engines to ensure strict
compliance.
